Clacton Pier

The iconic Clacton Pier offers so many attractions.  There you'll  find 2p slot machines to the latest hi-tech video games as well as the familiar fruit machines.   For fun seekers there are rollercoaster rides and even a seaquarium.

The Bell Inn Bistro, Thorpe-le-Soken

The Bell is a welcoming village gastropub with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere offering the choice of two menus either in the bar area or restaurant.  It’s one of the few pubs around that allow dogs in the bar area.

The King’s Cliff Hotel, Holland-on-Sea

Set in a 1930s building, this quaint hotel opposite the beach is 1.6 miles from Clacton Pier and 1.8 miles from Clacton-on-Sea Railway Station.  Lovely for lunch, dinner or afternoon tea.

Parker’s Garden Centre, Frinton

An independent, family run Garden Centre.  It’s not just about the plants, they also sell clothes, food, gifts and have a lovely café for breakfast, lunch or tea.

Ford Barns, Clacton-on-Sea CO16 0BH

One of Clacton’s best kept secrets.  Shush don’t tell anyone!  Inside you’ll find  some fabulous furniture, outside meet the beautiful Alpaca herd.  There’s even a tearoom open 7 days a week serving snacks and homemade cakes.

Bicycle Bar and Restauran​​t​, Tendring

Another beautiful gastro pub very close to Weeley Bridge.  Inside,  a traditional pub with beans and cozy nooks, outside a spacious patio to enjoy lunch on a sunny day.
